I knew they drank a lot here, but I didn't realize it was so boring in the Midwest all that we have to do is drink.
Though my friend Brian had an interesting observation;
"At our age, women have got to realize they aren't competing against other women. They're competing against a good bottle of scotch and a old school Bogart movie. A known quantity. At least when I have scotch and watch Boggie it's a guaranteed good time. Go out with a girl and the risk return trade off isn't worth it."
I surmise he'd agree with the new love of my life BioShock. Oh she's heavenly. And a cheap date too!
PS-Noticed that Massachusetts is just as drunk as we are. Didn't know if that was solely due to Ted Kenny or not. HAR!!!!!
So the Captain found Bioshock, eh? I suppose I'll give you some more time with that one before getting you trapped in EVE Online. :)
ReplyDeleteBut just to tease you a little, here's EVE's Quarterly Economic Report for Q4 of 2007. The mix of spaceships and charts of economic activity pretty much tell you exactly what sort of game it is. The charts start around page 6 or so.

(By the way, the chameleon tonic is easily the most useful upgrade in the game, and telekinesis is a lot more useful offensively than you might think. Plus it's dirt cheap to cast, and you can spread fires with it by waving a flaming corpse around)
Well, there could be something else at play here... Maybe the MidWest is just more honest when asked if they have driven under the influence in the last year...
