With exposure to the West, the cultural creep of feminism, and a decrease in male identity, I'd say that beta herbivores are a logical conclusion when a nation has lost its' identity.

Aside from the feminization (if such is real, and not feminist slut-shaming in reverse), one sympathizes. I can't help but notice a glaring absence of Japanese red pill enthusiasts in the manosphere.

Paul, Dammit!https://www.blogger.com/profile/02264872375942355609noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8358039.post-56419512938356507432014-03-10T13:22:34.943-07:002014-03-10T13:22:34.943-07:00Funny you bring this up. His conclusion: Calhoun saw the fate of the population of mice as a metaphor for the potential fate of man. He characterized the social breakdown as a “second death”.

See:

http://wimminz.wordpress.com/2013/10/21/flying-pigs-part-two/
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_B._Calhoun
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Behavioral_sink
http://www.cabinetmagazine.org/issues/42/wiles.php
http://www.mostlyodd.com/death-by-utopia/
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8358039.post-42304968812810196062014-03-10T12:53:05.394-07:002014-03-10T12:53:05.394-07:00good article, i'm go my own way man now; but w...good article, i'm go my own way man now; but was probably a herbivore 5 years ago; but i have had enough of twisting myself into knots for women and society. i know now that i have accomplished more than about 10% of the country and may make it to the 5% and i'm not giving that up to fit in or for some woman, she's going to have to go along with my plans or she can find someone else; i dont need women enough to give up my goals in life.leeholsennoreply@blogger.com
