I've worked in corporate America most of my career, and am seriously considering writing a book when I retire - but no one would probably read it.

As bad as the problems that you are describing, consider this. Every 5 - 7 years, corporations such as mine "reinvent" themselves, purge the ranks of management, and re-insert fresh idiots. These are people with the latest and greatest buzzwords, who truly have nothing to contribute.

Then combine that with the recently popular memes of "diversity" and "inclusion" and you see where this is going.

As an engineer with technical degrees and many years of experience, I end up reporting to millenial/Gen X morons who barely made it through business school.

I can't wait to retire.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8358039.post-60647763288861786462019-03-19T16:05:46.187-07:002019-03-19T16:05:46.187-07:00Ow my balls!Ow my balls!Robert What?https://www.blogger.com/profile/03863449539859132763noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8358039.post-39502837499172696922019-03-19T15:01:51.636-07:002019-03-19T15:01:51.636-07:00"Except some people in this country, like you..."Except some people in this country, like you, can see the problems. The numbers are too small and the returns are negative. It's going to be people protecting their close loved ones and preparing to sit out the storm. "Enjoy the Decline" isn't as nihilistic as it sounds - bunker up for the winter storm is another way to say it.
