Since you're tooling around Veg...Hey Cap'n!<br />Since you're tooling around Vegas, you may be familiar with the mountain country East of Kingman in Arizona's central highlands. <br /><br />The area is in Northern Arizona's rain-belts: the monsoon storms dump here, and the Pacific winter storms dump feet of snow, too. The forests are dense, and, if you want a solar-powered, rain-catch system to bug-out to, there is no better, affordable place.<br /><br />If you can't tell yet, I'm writing to pitch you on buying my 40 acres 45 miles East of Kingman. It's a south-facing bowl at 5600 feet elevation, only 2.5 miles from Interstate 40, so the snow melts quickly, and you can be on 4-lanes of blacktop heading east or west in under 15 minutes.<br /><br />If you've ever thought about picking up just such a place, send me an email.
