From Our Spanish Speaking Man in the Field
My grandfather from Spain saw and suffered what happens when Communism is implemented (it was called the Socialist Party and the Communist Party running Spain in 1934 and declaring void the elections where they lost -the 1934 elections-). After a promise of elections, nothing had happened yet by 1936 (apart from nuns and vicars being shot, well, and anybody else the thugs did not like, including neighbours, those suspected of being religious, those who had red shoes, those who looked weird, those who had no friends, guys with funny hair, capitalists -i.e. business owners-, etc.). Then, in 13 July 1936 the leader of the opposition (Calvo Sotelo, check him on wikipedia) was dragged from his home by thugs (i.e. the thought police and the local militia) and shot (and the government said they did not know what had happened or how to find the culprits)... the military did a coup (failed) four days later, which led to the civil war. Despite the war, I am of the belief that Spain was better off in 1975 (when Franco died) than if they had been Romania-in-the-West until 1990. God knows what the Soviets would have done in Europe with Spain as a satellite.
The Communist (that's right, communist, republican was double-speaking) side lost because they were unable to arrange a piss-up in a brewery, and civilians (my grandfather was one of them) on the Communist side were defecting to the Franco side (not many the other way round) as on one side you had some food and order, on the other side you had no food (unless you were a thug or part of the clique) and no order.
My father, and now me, travel across latinamerica. We have seen what communism did and what capitalism has done for these guys over the past 20 years. Capitalism wins hands down every time (hence why Ecuador and Venezuela suck, ditto for Argentina), yet take a look at Chile and Colombia (I think Mexico can rise... if they nail down -well- the narco culture, because a culture it is, even with its own music style).
Final note: I heard that Pinochet was responsible for eliminating 2000 people; it is said (in Chile, of all places -I have worked there-) that 200,000 people would have died had Allende implemented his Communist dictatorship of the People. Interestingly, I read recently that one of the first things Pinochet did was call economists in the US, and the Chicago school of thought sent a few people over; next thing Pinochet did was burn millions and millions of bank notes to bring down inflation; the economic measures he implemented resulted in present day Chile, the only country in latinamerica where I would invest my own money (well, perhaps Brasil as well).

Spurious
There are some interesting charts here, but the basic premise is that with women entering the work force, this depresses wages because the supply of labor has increased.
Couple points to note (and realize I have no particular feeling of this one way or another, since I haven't studied it thoroughly enough).
1. Yes, the increase in supply of labor should depress wages, but....
2. A doubling of the number of people working should also result in the doubling of the amount of goods and services being produced, as well as lower prices, thus increased standards of living - ie-women entering the workforce should help us, but...
3. If they all go become elementary education school teachers or social workers, then it is just a wealth transfer and no real goods and services are produced, let alone income and...
4. Most of the production women provide in this economy is simply to work up the money to pay for child rearing and house keeping that they've now outsourced as they've pursued careers. And ADDITIONALLY
5. TO PAY FOR THE INCREASE IN TAXES because when you decide to outsource rearing, you not only have to pay for the govenrment to baby sit your children either through the public schools or public day care, you also have to pay for additional cops, lawyers and judicial costs associated with the divorce, litigation and crime associated with broken families.
There is a piece of me though that still believes that women can do just as good of a job as men in most fields (not all, and vice versa). And some fields they are more productive in (accounting I believe is a perfect example as I believe women to be more precise and detailed than men). Unfortunately, based on what I've seen in the first half of my life, women are not living up to the bargain in terms of being independent, and disproportionately opt to pursue make-work-make-believe careers in the public or non-profit sector that really don't produce anything.
I shall not live the second half of my life ignoring this or being so ignorant about it. I will, for once, truly become an original feminist by treating women as genuine equals and holding them to the same standard as men, with the exact same expectations.
And they won't like it.

English Degrees are Worthless
Apparently I need to address this, because you would think that it would be obvious why you should never major in English, but millions of idiotic youth do every year, so hopefully I can save some of you kiddies from making the same mistake.
YOU ALREADY SPEAK ENGLISH!
WTF????
You need to pay somebody $75,000 in tuition to learn how to speak it "real good" or something?
No job prospects, no employment opportunities. It's the coward's way through college.
Before you blow all your parents money on a worthless degree, maybe you could spend a couple bucks on this first?

Brought to You From Across the Fruited Bloggosphere Plain
Sarcastic charty goodness is still charty goodness.
It takes a lot of empirical evidence to prove to you that what you were told was wrong AND for you to believe it. You then get enraged. You demand your time back, but since you can't get it back, you simply resort to the only thing you have - your inner, visceral instincts. Which is what women precisely wanted in the first place.
Welcome to the fight, this time I know our side will win.
Probably wise not to pick up your second wife at "Divorce Care Camp."
You don't want me to be president. I'd ban all religions, including global warming.
Gucci Little Piggy has an economic epiphany and is thusly promoted to the official rank of Junior, Deputy Economist!
Ms. Walsh finally speaks to something I knew when I was 19 was utter BS, but still forced upon me anyway. I didn't see video games or Rumpleminze on the list. She also launches her own version of female game. Look out men, if you drink you might express feelings. So make sure she's more drunk than you.
Like Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny, there is no such thing as a "born again virgin." Self-absorbed, delusional woman who are so self-centered they'll ignore reality to boost their ego, yes. Those do exist. But not born again virgins.
I got in a fight by that church. Thankfully snow is out in Minneapolis which means the cops don't have to work as hard because the criminal element in Minneapolis is lazy and doesn't like the cold. It also makes Ed's runs safer.
Binge drinking, whoring, smuggling tobacco...shoot, he makes me look like an amateur at enjoying the decline.
Those "stupid heathens" who weren't educated at Ivy League degrees will actually live in the real world long enough to kick your pampered, spoiled, brat trust fund baby ass. Not because they're brilliant, but because they were not shielded from reality. And, ultimately, those who live in reality will do better than those who live in La La Land.
Now, that's not nice. That's the truth. You need to hide the truth. Also, related to my book (due, sometime soon once I get the finalized copy).
You want an underdog to cheer for.

The Fathers Could Not Be Reached for Comment
Notice anything missing from this and this?
Mark my words, there will be hell to pay for ignoring one half of society. And it won't be me meting out the hell. It will be nature.
The question is when society is on the brink of collapse and comes around to men, asking us to fix it, we'll be 80 years old and relatively indifferent about it by then. Though we will have enjoyed the show, because we have learned to

Switch from Coke to Pepsi
My little blog here isn't the Drudge Report, but I'd like to think with the 7,000 est readers we could pack a punch. Namely, if we all switched from Coke to Pepsi, that would translate into roughly maybe $250,000 less in sales over the course of our lifetimes to punish Coke for trying to get political and proselytize to us about global warming.
Seriously, I go to bat for corporations every day to have their taxes eliminated, I don't need them and their sanctimonious CSR department stabbing capitalism and freedom in the back placating environmental communists with their global warming BS all in the hopes of eeking out an additional 1% in sales growth.
Here's a list of Coke's products. Truthfully, it's a long one. So just look on the back of the bottles and make sure it isn't a coke product.
I got enough problems with NGO's, non-profits, unions, universities, public schools and governments on my hands. Don't need the bleeping corporate sector to go all rent-seeking-commie on us.

Ride That Education Bubble Gravy Train
Jack up tuition when kids can barely afford it,
but knowing you can do so because because the demand for degrees is so high
but don't tell them demand for Carlson School of Management graduates is so low
and force them to take worthless HR classes and marketing prerequisites.
While you blame it on the big bad, meanie republicans at the state legislature.

One Hell of a Photo
Take some solace in this photo.

When I saw it, there was a flood of thoughts that came to me, and even now I'm still trying to sort them out.
But some of the more prominent ones are;
1. Aging woman whose life is so vain and void of meaning she still is protesting in her 50's?
2. Shouldn't you be a nice kind grandmother by now? No, your life has been so meaningless, so pointless, you must hang on, cling on, to that ONE TIME you felt alive back in 1968. Sadly, nobody knows who you are, nobody cares who you are, and me (a nobody blogger) is about all the celebrityship you're going to receive in terms of notoriety.
3. The shock on her face. "Wow! Are people really taking me down for trespassing on private property? I thought I was going to be able to just slander, abuse, and trespass where ever I wanted! You mean people who actually work for a living, build up the wealth, and start private companies get pissed when parasites like me just have the audacity to traipse on your property? Why am I being hauled away! I have a MASTERS DEGREE DAMNIT!
4. Do you think this woman ever lived a happy life?
5. How many suitable, upstanding men approached her in the 1970's?
6. How many suitable, upstanding men did she shoot down in the 1970's?
7. How much you want to bet she wishes she hadn't shot down all those suitable men in the 1970's who are now making bookoo coin in computer engineering or actuarial science.
8. Why am I seeing so many older people in these childish protests? Shouldn't they have figured this crap out by now and moved on to building families and lives they can enjoy?
9. When I'm this woman's age, I will have more important things to attend to. Not to mention, it's nearly impossible to be more miserable than her by that age.
There are other thoughts, but, this photo just really spoke to me. I love. I cherish it. And when I look at it, I see reality come crashing down on what is nothing more than the most arrogant and spoiled rotten elements of western civilization.
You kiddies keep protesting reality. Let me know how the battle against the truth goes. In the meantime I'll light up a cigar and watch a bunch of former 60s rebels and their modern day OWS counterparts piss away their lives protesting against the fact they have to grow up, get jobs, be adults and support themselves. Only to find out in their 70s they wasted their lives, had one shot and blew it, and can sit and stew in the crappy government nursing homes they voted in for themselves..

Grandpa's Cheap Nursing Home
Elusive points out what most people know, old people fear, and young people plain don't mind speaking their mind about.
What's great is this is the "shooting in the foot" aspect of this.
You voted to have future generations take care of you.
And you
1. Mismanaged the economy so horribly that when it's time for the youth to start working there are no jobs and no economic growth
2. You've brought them up to be entitlement monsters, so they have no allegiance or loyalty to you. They're only concerned about themselves (sound familiar?)
3. You've made it impossible for them to even work up the wealth to pay for your impossible retirement, not just because you've crashed the economy, but you told them to "follow their heart" and whatever other leftist 60's crap, and now none of them have the skills to get the jobs to earn the money to pay the taxes for your SS and medicare.
Your question when looking for a nursing home won't be, "do you accept medicare?"
It will be, "Does this nursing home have heat?"
Enjoy the decline!

Book is Done
Officially completed my second book.
It is now in the final stages of editing and (assuming all goes well) should be available Monday (definitely on Kindle bar some kind of unforeseen circumstance).
I am particularly excited about this book because it is about as well-timed as my previous one on the housing crash (which was released the day Lehman Brothers went bankrupt) and I believe it has the ability to really do some damage. Without giving it away, it may just become the most inciting, controversial book in a while. And, oh yes, it most definitely has that Cappy Cap charm about it. The charm that manages to enrage and piss off all the right people.
I am, however, asking a favor of anybody out there. Not to buy the book (though certainly feel free to do so when it's released), but rather come up with some ideas in terms of marketing. My goal is to make this book as successful as if it had been launched by a New York publishing house. The purpose being that if we can do that, it would hasten what I believe to be the inevitable demise of traditional publishing houses. That and if it sells 1 million copies I'm so retiring and never working again. Probably would just write more books.
In any case, fire away if you have any ideas. Radio show hosts that would be receptive to it. Bloggers I'm unaware of that might be willing to plug it. You name it.
Thanks for your help and continued readership,

Mapping the Manosphere

Delusional Damage mapped the Manosphere.
Wish he provided a larger image.
You'll like reading the top part of his blog though in particular. It revisits what I've pointed out in the past - that all these people coming to the same conclusion, while never meeting or knowing of each other, confirms there is something going on and our observations are confirmed as legitimate.
A Chicken in Every Pot
and cheap nursing homes for all.
You'll forgive me if I just plain decide to have no children, drink my Rumpleminze and enjoy playing my X-Box 360.

Labor Force Participation
The media is citing the unemployment figure going down because more people are leaving the labor market. However I was actually quite shocked at the drop in male labor force participation since the 1950's.
I'm sure it has nothing to do with industry being outlawed by the EPA or the rise of the make-work-social-worker-puppiesnunicorns-government jobs.
A Masters Degree in Camping
"Masters in Outdoor Recreation."
Honest to god. Two years from now we'll have Doctorates in Go Kart Racing or Masters in Fly Fishing.
