I'm Amazed We Won WWII

  1. These figures seem to concur with my data as well. The felines appear to lose lucidity somewhere between the 12th and 14th stories based on the way they tend to go limp at this point, just before hitting the railing of my neighbors balcony on floor 8. Dolphins however appear to maintain conciousness all the way to the pavement, based on their sporadic fin flapping and "EEEEEeeeeeeeEEEEEeeee"-ing during their rapid descent. I'll let you know how the bats perform after next weeks test.

To steal from Mr. Dave Barry on the famous "Bat Bombs", they were the brainchild of a Pennsylvania dentist, "which should surprise no-one who has undergone dental surgery". Apparently, he was a good friend of the First Lady, and when the POTUS sent the memo to the OSS (the forerunner of the CIA), because the Army, sensibly enough, wouldn't touch the project initially, Mr. Roosevelt had to underline the words "This man is NOT a kook!"
