Bend Over So that China May Kick Your Ass

I found this chart fascinating and confirming of what I've always suspected;

That China is only communist in name and is the worst threat to American supremacy;

A pro-capitalist dictatorship that actually knows what it's doing.

It's like a small nimble company that can make executive decisions without worrying about all the minor political ramifications, unlike their larger, slothful big corporation counter parts that just can't seem to move as quick to take advantage of the market.

So while we compromise and meet in the middle to in effect, effect impotent legislation, and further deteriorate into French-like mediocrity, the likes of China and Saudi Arabia (see how they're building a fence, no questions asked, ef the minority and dissenters we're moving on to progress and advance) are making moves to improve themselves.

  1. It's mighty encouraging to see that the people of the three largest countries in the world tend to see free markets as a good thing.

    You'd probably get a very different picture if you asked them about specific policies. 70+% of Americans may say that they believe that free-enterprise is best, but nowhere near that number would support, e.g., reducing tariffs, scrapping the minimum wage, or reducing the government's role in the health care system.

    Also, I wonder to what extent this was affected by linguistic issues. The various translations of "free enterprise" could have very different connotations in different languages. Not that I doubt that the French are really that clueless.

  3. Oh, I know. I get a kick out of how many people in the US think we're "the most capitalist nation on Earth."

    Ignorance truly is the best weapon of the left.

  4. What countries would you consider to be more capitalist than the US? I've heard good things about Switzerland and New Zealand, and I guess Ireland has recently become pretty capitalist too, but I'd like to know your opinion. Is there a country that you would consider the most capitalist in the world?

  5. Technically most of your tax havens. Cayman Islands. Bermuda. Jersey Island.

    And to be technical about it any country with a lower government receipts as a percentage of GDP would be more "capitalist" than the US.

    However, I'd be also tempted to say that policies enhancing economic grwoth and lessening government's take as a percent of GDP would also have to be considered. In otherwords which direction are we heading. So Ireland would come in there too.
