All I could find at first is that the average deferral rate is around 5.5-6% of compensation and that it is higher for high income and lower for lower income brakcets.

Uh oh.....no charts, but there is JUST enough info to make a really crude one causing the chics to swoon. Being a very amatuer economist (of sorts) I dont think Ill attempt such genius without the good Captain's help. Besides, the chics already dig me because Im a man who can find things.
Do the net savings rates take into account 401k/Roth contributions? I'd much rather save my money there, than a savings account.
