The socialists always focus on what Wal-Mart pays its employees, ie-how much people make. They never focus on what truly matters, as it is purchasing power that really determines standards of living.
This is going to drive them nuts; a large, profitable US corporation doing what they couldn’t do in 30 years; delivering cheap drugs to the poor.
Morons.
This is completely unrelated, but I need the Captain to help me. I have a hell of a lot of money laying around… thousands of dollars actually. I need to know: How do I purchase stock, what’s the best way of doing it and what stocks currently look the best to invest in? Thanks.
ReplyDeleteWell the simplest way is to get on online account, E-Trade, Ameritrade, whatever. I'd advise against Ameritrade since they did a job on me back when I had an account with them when I was 22.
ReplyDeleteAs for investing I can't make any particular recommendations, I know I don't like the long term US fundamentals. I like China, former Soviet Bloc, central Europe, etc. E-mail me at captcapitalism@yahoo.com I have something that may help.
I'm not sure if I read it wrong, but I thought it was an employee-only program. ARe they going to sell pharms to everyone for $4?
ReplyDeleteI was thinking the same when I read it b/c is seems like the writer completely changes subjects half way through the article.
ReplyDeleteI think the writer was just an idiot and wanted to say something negative about Wal-Mart's health coverage, but everything in the top half of the article sounds like it's open to the public
Well, it does state that the CEO said - "By cutting the cost of many generics to $4, we are helping to ensure that our customers and associates get the medicines they need at a price they can afford."
ReplyDeleteSo i guess that means it's available to everyone...
