But . . . wasn't nuclear power outlawed in the gospel of Saint Gore the Inconvenient Oracle?
ReplyDeleteI want to buy a t-shirt from Cappin Cap that says:
ReplyDeleteGO NUKES!
BTW- Jimmy Carter banned us from "Recycling" our nuclear waste. We can burn the spent fuel rods over and over again, instead we are only allowed to burn them once giving us the storage problem.

ReplyDeleteIt all depends on how the question is worded. Other polls show different results. I have some not-especially-interesting remarks on this here.
ReplyDeleteJR Hume, Mr. Gore is officially astraddle that question. Some not-especially-interesting remarks on this point can be found here.
No, no, no. The reason that nuclear energy is a bad thing in this country, is because Jane Fonda made a movie in the 70's.
ReplyDeleteThe other reason, is because we would be hippocrates if we used more nuclear energy, while denying Iran, North Korea and Saddam's Iraq the same thing. It's that whole "moral equivalencey" thing.
