'Abstinance only. Planned parenthood is of the devil.' Social conservatives are completely in the wrong on this issue.
Why can't we have republicans that have your economic sense, but then arent batshit crazy when it comes to social issues? Makes me really wary of voting for them into office because of crap like this.
It's misleading. There's a big difference between pregnancy rates and teen birth rates. For all you know, the next country down on the list may have twice as much teen pregnancy per capita, while also having a higher abortion rate.
This is only developed countries. I understand that in Africa there are countries where it's normal to have 4 kids by the time a girl is 20. Never did the research myself though.
Like Alex said, it's misleading. What's the demographic breakdown of each country? It just says "per million peo[ple]". If a country has a large percentage of 12-19 yr. olds, of course there's going to be more teen pregnancies and teen births (and probably teen abortions) than a country with a higher population of old people.
Wonder what the abortion rates look like for the same countries.

The caption says one thing, the graph another...it notes births. I think one could make a good argument that these two values are not the same.
