I think those numbers show that people are waking up from their "Obama dream". The approval rates also start to go down, so, give them a couple more months of depression and incompetence, and they will run. Though I'm not sure that they will run to our side.
Anyway, I wouldn't rule out that Obama doesn't get a second term. He will be drowned under a heavy load of problems.
@dtrum, Actually the approval rates have held constant between 62-65%, according to the RCP average, but the disapproval numbers have risen from about 13 to 35%. This suggests that the Republican opposition is becoming more unified, but he still remains popular among independents and Democrats. But there's still a long time to go before the next election.
