IOUSA

Sadly, this movie will make no impact or difference in that too high a percentage of the population is composed of veritable children that have never had to pay for anything in their lives and still expect it to continue on that way.

I'm outta here guys. Enjoy the collapse.

  3. Can't wait to see the update to this video once the Obama Effect takes hold.... That is if we can still afford the electricity to run our computers to watch it!

The best way I can put this is that the American Economy has been run in a very similar fashion to American Automobile manufacturers ...

  5. Sadly, none of these things will happen because we fix any of our problems, but because the USA will just be so much worse by comparison. :-(

I'll second the invite to Canada. Things aren't perfect, but we look to be a bit further ahead (or at least less behind?)

Oil and gas demand isn't going down any time in the near future, so we're looking good out here in Alberta and Saskatchewan =)

I saw that documentary. Kudos to David Walker for trying to wake people up. As bad a picture as the film paints, it came out before all the insane bailouts and stimulus schemes. We are so screwed. Thanks baby boomers!

  8. According to wikipedia this move perpetuates the myth of "trade deficits." Sounds too populist and not as academic as I like.
