Escape LA

Net migration out of LA

I wish they have a state-wide chart to see how many producers (er...sorry) "people" are leaving the "golden state."

regardless, platinum hat tip to the boys who pulled together that chart.

Remember, the Captain is pro-"Charty Goodness."

  1. Don't forget though, that as all the fruits and nuts flee the Golden State, they usually keep their voting habits. So that chart also shows future voting trends, whith states will be going purple/blue.

Insanity defined: Doing the same thing again and again and expecting a different result each time.

So what is clear from that map, is that there are a couple dozen counties in Montana, Texas and the upper Midwest that have not been infected yet with the zombie-like political mindrot that these socialist revolutionaries have been infected with.

I wonder if there's some way to contain them? The threat they pose is pretty clear when you look at the way Northeastern ex-pats have flooded the Southeast and are larding up state governments there with their bad socialist programs and lefty ideas.

  3. If most of this exodus consists of people who make a living working and are generally fiscal conservatives (which makes sense if we're operating on the premise that policies pushed by liberals are driving the exodus), then this shift probably makes California more blue, and other states more red, since the relatively few Republican/Republican-leaning voters are the ones leaving the state.

  4. New law: All residents moving to another state FROM california (or if they lived in california in the past 15 years) have to pass an intelligence test before voting in state elections..

The intelligence test will be designed by Cappy Cap.

Also, their children and children's children have to pass, etc.

I knew I'd seen this before. I'm sure there are other sites which may be more recent, but try this Forbes site for an iteractive map.

  6. White flight? LA is after all one of America's most wonderfully "diverse" cities.
