Greetings economists, agents and lieutenants!
I will be doing the great Western motorcycle ride this week starting in a town called Buffalo, WY and heading south to Phoenix, and then back north. This means two things:
1. Guest posts are once again welcome this week (e-mail your links to the Captain).
2. Anybody along the route let me know and we can of course share a shot of Rumpie!
As you were.
If you can take Hwy 64 up over Eagle Nest and down through Taos and Santa Fe. Incredible ride and scenery.

ReplyDeleteNo Toronto? Buffalo?
ReplyDeleteYou do realize that those shots that you call Rumpie is called Rumple Mintz and not Rumpie right?
ReplyDeleteYou do realize that those shots that you take of Rumpie are acutally called Rumple Mintz right?
ReplyDeleteWho are you and what have you done with the real Cappy Cap? The real Captain is smarter than to ride to Arizona in August...
ReplyDeleteHeresolong,
ReplyDeleteWill take it under advisement. My ass can only handle so much on a crotch rocket fitted with saddle bags.
Spaniard AITF,
Would love to, but I still have to explore the west, though this trip will conclude my expedition. Next will be the missions.
Anon,
Yes, but we here on Cappy Cap call them "Rumpies." Sergeant Rumpie Fluffalo is named after it!
Great and Powerful,
The Captain decides. Weather and environment does not phase him.
Oz, Rode to Albuquerque last August from the NW and it was most fine.
ReplyDeleteWhen do you expect to arrive in Phoenix, and how long will you stay? If you're in Phoenix during the weekend, I could easily drive up from Sorry Vista (down in the southeast corner of Arizona) to do shots of Rumpie....
ReplyDeleteAuricTech,
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm coming trhough the north so it may save you the trip if I'm in your neighborhood.
Regardless, I plan to be in Phoenix Friday day, stay Saturday, and leave Sunday.
Is Auric a Goldfinger reference by chance?
I'm down in Chandler. How about we all meet the Captain together?
ReplyDeleteHell, I might drive up to the Center of the Universe to meet Cappy.
