But even people with degrees in computer science and certificates in welding are pretty screwed. Ask Dr. Illusion about the job market for welders, but the market for computer geeks in not healthy in the USA.

no thanks, but this does help support my belief that the most talented and intelligent human beings are currently trapped doing shit work and menial labor because they didn't go to NYU film school with a future big time hollywood producer or whatever (insert your own example here). I'd rather sit back and watch society crumble than go make nice with an army of backstabbers and cutthroat fake friends.
Insightful, and depressing. As the years go by, I'm happier and happier that I didn't blow $40,000 on extended education.

Yes, I understand younger people's plight. Yes, I understand whole industries and "career paths" vanishing.
