Teaching Entitled Spoiled Brat Liberal Children

The thing that bothers me though, is the fact that most of my colleagues tend to have political or economic views that increase people's sense of entitlement.

Welcome to the club kid!

  2. I teach high school math and there is no work ethic at all. The other day a student actually said "I don't know how we are supposed to remember that".

For homework today, they are writing it out ten times.

    We'll see how that goes.

  3. You think they're bad in college, wait until the "everybody wins a trophy" generation hits the White House.

What's more dangerous for a child?

    Bullying?

    Or over-inflating a child's ego?

Flunk the little bastards until they actually earn a passing grade and watch how fast their bullshit stops!!

Christ, I'm glad that I'll be dead before this wave of pansies moves into pivotal roles by default.

    The evolution of a democracy.

    As follows .....

    From bondage to spiritual faith,
From spiritual faith to great courage,
    From courage to liberty,
    From liberty to abundance,
    From abundance to selfishness,
    From selfishness to complacency,
    From complacency to apathy,
From apathy to dependency, <----- We are here.
From dependency back again to bondage.

    Just sayin’ ....
    Have a nice day y’all.

They already have. Look at the current crop of business leaders and HR managers, in particular. Another clue is the background of the people running major corporations. During the 80's, these were almost always "line" people - sales, engineering, production, maybe marketing (but not "marcom", which is a support function). Today, the "staff" people - HR, legal, finance, etc. often make up the senior managers of large corporations.

This is one of the reasons why American business culture is so dysfunctional today.
