Aurini on the History of Psychological Problems - Part 1

Davis is putting together a three part series on the history of psychological illness.  Part 1 is up and I strongly recommend it.  Not that it would help you self-psycho-analyze yourself, but it provides an interesting insight, especially given how nearly 50% of westerners are on some kind of medication.

Hey captain, I saw this this week and saw the craziness it made in the news. http://www.pewsocialtrends.org/2013/05/29/breadwinner-moms/#chapter-1-overview

I read the report and made the conclusion that more women are settling with beta men and then divorce them, somebecome single moms or stay married to weak males and now are sad and depressed. I wonder whats your opinion on this study if you have the time captain.

When you have a society where 50 percent of the people need to be on drugs in order to cope with it, you don't say "What's wrong with people and how can we change them so they can better fit into our society? You're supposed to say "DAMN! What's wrong with our world and why is it making so many people sick?"

WE aren't the ones that are sick and in need of change. The WORLD is....
