Some of these women are going to use every single word in the dictionary to smear you as a misogynist just for pointing out facts.
If they want to be on the same playing field, then they are going to have to take the same beatings and tribulations as everyone else. Blaming everyone else for their problems will not work on us.
Feminine welfare, masculine welfare, and corporate welfare will be treated with the same equal amount of scrutiny and criticism. There you go. True equality in every sense of the word.
You've talked about those Band of Brothers miniseries on your blog a few times. I just wanted to see that I'm finally going to be able to see them online because I recently became an HBO subscriber. It sounds like the kinds of films every young man needs to see.
Worst women behavior is when they want to be at the executive level by day, but have the man open the car door and pick up the tab by night. I'm a male executive and that won't ever happen in my world! You want to be my equal, then act like one!!
If feminism of that era was so hopeless, then it's going to be hopeless in any era. There's something eerily sterile about propaganda for working women.

ReplyDeleteNotice how the implications of the final paragraph are completed glossed over.
"She quit her job after 2 weeks to protect her cello playing.."
I'm surprised they put that sentence in, since it tacitly undermines everything the picture is supposed to stand for.
That is an example of 'listening for the silence'
What is being ignored here tells you a lot about propaganda.
Don't let the silence pass unchallenged.
And now you know... the reee-est of the story.
ReplyDeleteNever mind the truth getting in the way of a good story...
Since when is there truth in advertising?
