I am intrigued by Ed's (
quite extensive) analysis of 1970's film and the 1970's filming industry. I was not really cognizant of these goings-on's at the time, but I do know that a genre of 70's flicks I thoroughly enjoy are the Spaghetti Westerns. Of course not American, but probably the best film production from that decade.
Umm... The last of Eastwood's "spaghetti Westerns"
ReplyDelete"The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" was in 1966. Not exactly a product of the '70s. Nothing good came out of the Seventies - except my daughter!
Two good things came out of the 70's:
ReplyDelete1) Maximo's daughter, and
2) They call me Trinity.
Watch that movie and you'll understand where the good Captain is coming from in this post.
