The Most Balless Sheriff - Chris Nocco

What an utter fucking pathetic excuse for a lawman.  "We can't do anything."

OH REALLY???  Then what was this from two years ago?

What this boils down to is that property rights aren't protected in Pasco County because the sheriff is not a sheriff and you are an idiot to live there.

haha some "sheriff"! What a disgrace to the title. This is the kind of sheriff that jumps into a barrel to hide when he hears the outlaws riding into town, like those old western movies :)

Justice has become a scam anyway, like many other things. "There's nothing to do"? No, there's is something to do: resign and go home!

The sheriff is PC, he's terrified the Mexicans will call him racist or worse get slammed by the mayor.

The only way around this is for the home owner to hire a lawyer to make the city evict them. Sadly it's costly and will take a year or so, I've read more than a few accounts in my local paper where black and Mexican bums took over foreclosed homes. Worse when he gets the house back it will be thrashed - because they will strip it bare when they realize they're going to get the boot.

If it was me, I'd just torch it or hire some goons to evict the parasites and deposit them far into the desert with no money and shoes.

Sadly, the law is on the side of the squatters in most cases, and especially here where they say there has been an agreement.

As in so many cases, needed a court to settle this one, if they hadn't moved out.

Sheriff got this one right, and it's no use blaming him when he is following the law.

  4. Easy solution: tell the sheriff a kid is running an unlicensed lemonade stand from the house and they'll be there with a SWAT team.

  5. I think there is more to this case than what's being reported, Aaron. Chris Nocco is actually a very stand up Sheriff and has done a lot to clean up Pasco. He eliminated the good ole boy network that was rampant in the Sheriffs office and has brought accountability. Pasco tends to be a rougher county in the Tampa Bay metro area, so your going to have this kind of riff raff trying to buck the system.
From what I read it seems the owner was using this as a rental property. He should have hired a property manager, not a "friend" to look after the house. Everything is speculation, this friend may have made a verbal contract, who know's. Yes, it's a civil matter. Yes, eviction is costly. Bet he won't leave his friend in charge of the property again. Tough lesson.
Curious, how do you think the Sheriffs office should have handled it without knowing the full story?

  6. Does anyone really take the idea seriously anymore that "Sheriffs" are in office to protect persons and property? Does anyone honestly believe that most of today's "Sheriffs" have even the vaguest clue that this is their real job?

Let's be honest. The Richard Macks are the all-too-rare exception. The Joe Arpaios are the template norm.

This is pretty much typical. It took 6 months and $2000 in attorney fees to evict a deadbeat from a rental in Delaware. Magistrates in Delaware are political appointees, not Lawyers. If you try to represent yourself, you will probably lose as there is a strong anti landlord bias. I got the property back, cleaned up $6000 in damages and sold it. Anyone who has rentals in East Shithouse Delaware is taking a big risk. I know people who make great money there, but, they are brass balled risk takers. I am allergic to drama and only have rentals in Maryland now.
