Zion and Capitol Reef National Parks

Climbed "Angel's Landing" which consists of a harrowing scaling of the "spine" of a very narrow butte with about 2,000 foot drops on each side.  I will be uploading "360 panorama" pictures once I compile them.

Thank you very much for the photo gallery. Very nice shingle stones.

Is that Sedona Vortex Arizona ?

My parents used to take us out West as kids, but because of the school year, we always had to go during July and August. (Zion Canyon is HOT in the summer!)

One place I'd recommend going to is Craters of the Moon National Park in Idaho. I remember it having a lot of freaky terrain and rocks that you wouldn't find anywhere else. Definitely memorable. Wind Cave, SD is nice too (although if you're claustrophobic and achluophobic like me, you'll have to prepare yourself mentally ahead of time.)

  3. Oh my gosh, this brought back memories! I climbed Angel's landing 23 years ago; I have a cool picture of my feet over the edge up at the top.

  4. Very nice. I didn't like Craters of the Moon when I went there. It is very reminiscent of craters. On the moon. Really not much interesting and everything is made of lava. Quite dull.

Listening to your videos coming back from surfing today and am willing to volunteer if you want to explore that cave you found. I have no experience but lots of enthusiasm.

Aside: Just wondered whether you gain anything if we "like" them or actually watch them on Youtube. I download using Youtube to MP3 Converter as I listen to them on my phone while running or driving.

I grew up in St.George so Angel's landing was nearby. I don't recall it being scary though. It was more of a temptation to jump off because walking down is hard on the quads.
