Not sure where "thinking they don't need men" comes in, other than that she murdered the male child and left the females alone (well, other than being scarred for life, if you call that "left alone"). Women who had, needed, and even believed they were divinely created to serve men have done the same horrible thing.
Again-- Can we please just shoot her???? I'm tired of countenancing this shit.
I have 4 kids. I've been horribly depressed, put-upon and isolated, dragged over the coals and crucified as a wife, a mother, and a human being. I've been to the places they say "make" women do this shit. I've even had thoughts of violence against my kids cross my mind. I acknowledge that it's miserable, that it frankly sucks.
But that's where my empathy ends.
I have sense enough not to act on those thoughts. I have sense enough to step outside for 10 minutes when I'm mad enough to have harmful impulses. My kids are alive, unmarked, fed, clothed, educated, parented to the standard of mediocrity on my very worst days.
I'm not some paragon of Motherhood. If I can do it, ANYONE can.
When I see stories like these (and unfortunately there are many where the woman harms the child or children), I often wonder if some of the "wife-beating" stories I heard about in my youth were because the father was protecting the children from their mother.
Driven to insanity by being ill equipped to raise daughter's children. Many of these folks have a long record of crazy and/or dangerous behavior but have never been tagged for it because they are female. Possibly no man in the house because it was not a safe environment for him either?
The police thought it best that the children were removed from the other adults in the family... I doubt that if a father murdered one of his children the police would think it best to remove from the mother her remaining children.
I notice she is one of those twats with a hyphenated name...that is never a good sign. Every woman I have ever known that has the hyphenated thing going on has turned out to be bad news in one way or the other. Its almost as big a tell as the horse ownership thing you keep mentioning, Cappy.....
Can we please just shoot her????
