Yo Cappy - like your pics - and if you like that sort of thing - come to the Feather River Canyon on Hwy. 70 here in Nor Cal - [between Chico, CA and Reno, NV] you'll find it a more epic an adventure on your street bike, I'm sure.
But what I'm commenting about is a distinct lack of publicly funded Grants available online for public review. I want to read a tax payer funded Grant, but find it's impossible to locate one. Anything - Nada - Zilch - Zip. No Grants available for reading online... Am I missing something? Or are tax payer funded Funded Grants (therefore public) not available for review online in PDF or any other format?
Amazing pics Captain. I have never seen a hiking staff in your photos. I have started hiking more, since my geezer pass gets me into state and most federal parks for free or very low cost. A good, heavy duty wood or rattan hiking staff will give support on rough ground and act as a legal defense tool against two and four legged predators. You do not have to spend big bucks to make a staff, my current fav is an old rake handle with a rubber tip on one end.
Carrying a staff feels odd at first, but, soon becomes a part of your outdoor gear.
One day a whiny, soy boy, SJW asked me why I was carrying that Big Fucking Stick. I smiled and said " Good support for bad knees" and kept walking.
Ha! Sucker! I stayed home today, played call of duty and drank mountain dew.
ReplyDeleteand I worked 6 to 6 the past two days ! how's that song go, "jealous, jealous again".
ReplyDeleteMy hometown. I hope you're enjoying it. If you are still here, how long do you plan on staying?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful images.
