Nice example, although there's still a trap to be avoided ...
Older men often think they need to entertain the shit out of younger women.
They usually don't need to make any special effort, but they reason they keep doing this is that they haven't fully internalised the belief that they are the prizes, not the younger women.
Look at Salman Rushdie and Roger Scruton.
They were looking for younger and more enjoyable women from a different perspective.
Sometimes it's sufficient just to have someone else around with a better and different perspective as well as enough energy to be able to enjoy life.
In Roger Scruton's case, sometimes it's enough to have a woman around who is being pleasant while on a hunt, and at least it's a start ...
But ultimately, there is a truth in what you are saying that older women recognise: they recognise the wrongness of their own situations, but instead of accepting that circumstances and events led to them, they seek someone else to blame, in this case the younger women who haven't indulged in courses of wrongness.
Again, this is also why older men shouldn't be at all receptive to the commiseration of older women, let along their miseries ...
Hello fellow traveler. So, did the women in Minnesota get fat too? They were pretty hot when I lived there in the mid 90s. I've pretty much decided that if I ever get involved with another one, she has to be an avid runner. Or maybe an avid hiker. And actively pursuing it. Otherwise the risk of her getting fat is just too great.
A man who was truly "getting some" wouldn't advertise it by hanging a brassiere from a lamppost. He probably had it on a blow up doll or maybe it's his mom.
Nice example, although there's still a trap to be avoided ...

This is what you want, this is what you get.
You can't stop progress. :-)

ReplyDeleteThat's a bunch of bullshit.
ReplyDeletePeter Cook's impending marriage is proof that most men never, ever learn.
ReplyDeleteOK Cappy! Are you resulting to subliminal messaging to drive home a point.
ReplyDeleteI found it interesting that in the background of your vid there was a black bra hanging from a lamp. So how's the blood pressure? :)
