I love playing D&D. Currently in two separate campaigns, one as a player online with some guys who started locally and then all moved away and one at my place which I DM. I don't, however, understand the craze for listening to other people play. I tuned in for a while to several campaigns mainly because I wasn't familiar with 5th Edition (I was AD&D straight up til I took a break for about ten years and came back two years ago to find that 3, 3.5, and 4 had all been and gone).
As soon as I had the rough idea of how the rules worked it became a bit dull to listen to other people socialize and joke, even with a game running in the background.
