New "Sparkly" Currency to Jump Start the Economy

Only a moron, with absolutely NO CONCEPT OF ECONOMICS would think issuing a new currency because it is flashy would "jumpstart the economy."

And is it any surprise the currency design they highlight has the two presidents who utterly FAILED to "jump start the economy?"

Since when does the dollar "need" a redesign? Greenbacks are iconic currency known on sight worldwide. The proposed redesign turns the dollar into an undistinguished clone of European currency.

The inmates truly are running the assylum! What MORONS!!!!

Help me out here because I'm having trouble believing I actually heard/read the following this past week. Some moronic "Money Guru" (and I can't remember who) said he thought that currency (I took that to mean paper fiat money) should be taxed and/or be printed with an expiration date. Please tell me this was just a bad dream!

They look like they were designed in the U.S.S.R.

Hardly surprising, only socialists would put Obama on a dollar note.

Seems like there are still some fanatics out there who would follow the socialist Messias into death.

Mind you, they did just do a make over on the US currency. Nothing had changed since the 1930s. The level of counterfeit $100 bills threatened to ruin the US currency. They were forced to make some changes, because the currency was so easy to counterfeit.
These silly new designs must just be some sort of joke.

I am reminded of the way magician (and con men) work hard to get you looking one way while they try to fool you somewhere else.

Typical liberals - fluff is more important than function.

  8. It's also illegal, unless Barry dies first. Living persons only feature on currency when they are reigning monarchs, which much as he and his partisans might wish were the case, is still a blatant violation of our basic republican form of government.

(Also, it would completely crash our economy as EVERY VENDING MACHINE IN THE COUNTRY would need new firmware. And cash drawers in every till would have to be redesigned, which is also great if you want to demagogue the banks while cutting them new bailout checks.)

On the other hand, if we get hit with hyperinflation, we probably should put Obama's picture on the $1 million bills that we'll be carrying in our wallets.
