It's Called Capital Flight

Friend of mine said 3M was thinking of leaving Minnesot and the US.

I didn't want to post it on account it was heresay.

Guess it wasn't.

  1. The most annoying part of this are the people who will complain that 3m is doing something wrong. "Why don't they just pay their fair share" (Fair share's definition changes all the time) They can never connect the dots that incentives matter. These same people will also never accept that people have choices and those choices have consequences.

This is a big aspect of socialists and their policies. They treat private businesses like indentured servants. Also companies that remain, are forced into becoming government lobbyists. They have to seek government favors in order to operate.
Take a look at some of the things a business must put up with. A Byzantine tax code, the EPA, three levels of government regulations, 40% corporate tax rates, payroll taxes, huge liability insurance costs, the list goes on and on.
Earlier generations of Americans, could never have imagined how socialist America has become.
Expect to see more capital flight in the near future, from both businesses and individuals.
