"I Didn't Think Their Lies Could Win"

Well, when you have such an ignorant and spoiled society, yes their lies can win.

  1. Yeah, I did not think the average American was stupid enough to think Obama would actually be a better President then an inert carbon rod. Yet, he was elected President.

I did not think the average American was so clueless as to believe every bank in the world is conspiring to force them into taking on mortgages and credit card debt they cannot afford. Yet, I see consistent calls to make the evil bankers pay.

I never thought I would see the day that the majority of Americans would desire, no wait, demand that someone else pay for the goods and services they receive from the healthcare field. Yet, every day I see more and more arguments that Obamacare will make the world a better place.

I never thought I would ever hear another US citizen criticize a political candidate because they choose to publicly display their faith. But, these days, when a politician says they gain solace from prayer, the outrage and cries about separation of church and state are deafening.

I never thought I would ever see the future of the USA as a second class country, but if everyone continues to believe the lies, we have no other place to go.

So, I will take the advice of the Captain, and enjoy the decline.

  2. CMB,

I not only have accepted the fact, I am so far down the road I am cheering it on.

Ultimatley you have to ask "What is truth, what is the reality?"

The reality is we have a nation of 300 million people, the majority of which have no desire to adhere to the principles that made this country great.

And therefore I cheer its death on and short the dollar.

Yes, sad to see the greatest country go.

But (and I do not mean this as an insult)

    can you stop the decline?

The picture is unrealistic, you wouldn't look so well fed and dressed in a re-education camp.

    Couldn't agree more.

Not quite as far along in enjoying the decline as you are, but I am getting there.

And, no, there is nothing I can do to stop the decline. The only thing that will do that is when the progressive crusaders have to live with the consequences of their actions. And, by that time, the US will be a second class nation.

    Shame really.

The lies could win again as mentioned. The general public is diluted spiritually, morally and mentally enough for it to happen. I welcome it too. It hasn't gotten bad enough yet. Actually, we need to get attacked again in order for a TRUE CHANGE to take place. This country needs to be hurt bad and not by little bites and wounds but by one big open sore. "Sir what are you suggesting?"
