Out of curiosity, why does Studley Screwright in the cartoon give a rip about parents, one-year-olds and birthdays?
And for that matter, why is Captain Capitalism interested enough to pass on the cartoon for our delectation? Does he not have benches to press or something?

ReplyDeleteThey are practicing at being the kind of parent their kids will like. It's got to look natural later, when the kid *can* see.
