Occasionally I will write a screed (which I am prone to do) and will then get comments akin to "geez Cappy, I love ya, but why can't you be happy all the time, 24-7, no questions asked?"
It reminds me of this Calvin and Hobbes cartoon.

Here's something glad to be bad about. On Calvins nightstand is the disfunctional f-4 phantom jet which he incorrectly assembled in previous comic strips.
