Do Women Even Know the Meaning of the Word, "Independent?"

Swear to the Patron Saint's Name of Frick, you just can't make this stuff up.

From this post:

And how much do you want to bet the "bachelors" and "masters" degrees were worthless fluffy puppy crap that came at the subsidy of the state?

Bunch of god damn spoiled brat children running around acting like they're adults.

Post-post: Davis does a more detailed taken down of the article.  I just couldn't read the whole thing.  It's the epitome of everything wrong with America and western civilization.

  1. I believe that feminists may have re-defined "independent" as "single".

  2. A little over a month later, on my way to work, I stopped at Target to buy a pregnancy test. My breasts had that tingly feeling and I felt…different.

Moments later there were both a plus and a minus sign on the test indicator. What the fuck does that mean? Pregnant and not pregnant? A little bit yes and a little bit no?

My friend told me to call the pharmacist, who suggested that I read the directions, before I found out I was, indeed, pregnant for the second time in my life.

She had a Bachelors and a Masters degree, but still needed a Pharmacist to tell her to read the directions on the box to interpret a pregnancy test?

I dated an elementary school guidance counselor who made the "independent" claim. I pointed out to her that there were no guidance counselors in my elementary school in the 70s, nor were there any guidance counselors in my middle school in the early 80s. Didn't know what one was until high school. And that my elementary school undoubtedly had higher test scores than the one where she worked.
I told her that she is utterly dependent on men with guns and badges who supply the threat necessary to coerce 2000 rural households to pay a property tax they would certainly not pay if given the choice to have a guidance counselor at the local elementary school or to keep their $30.
Relationship didn't work out - good.

The Captain left out the best part with the "happy ending" to the story. The single mom eventually dates, has unprotected sex on the first date, and gets knocked up. The guy marries her, Ms. Independent has all her problems solved.

She probably told him she was on the pill.

  8. There was a day not too long ago where I'd accuse you of making up that quote.

A child has grown up without learning key values and virtues, and apparently a man's life in now ruined too.

All that "independence" is coming to an end shortly since the "gov" (fed and locals) ran out of money long ago and will soon run out of credit.

Can you imagine what's going to happen when the EBT cards, the pension, WIC and welfare checks are no longer issued? Of course, this will be because the governments are completely bankrupt and are just starting to show it. Detroit is just the opening volley.

These "independent" women are really going to be "independent" then!!!

Xojane profile says she's the breadwinner as a freelance writer. I guess babydaddy's check don't clear, or is this another example of "female independence"

  12. Ironically, even (or especially)with all her 'education,' she will never understand the irony of her story, her worldview or her situation.

This is serious, Gentlemen. We may be witnessing the seed of an Irony Vortex that may well annihilate all human consciousness.
