Another Reason Not to Breed

Apparently the state is deeming it necessary to FORCE parents to pay for their childrens' college tuition.

  1. What the hell am I missing? She's 21 frigging years old. She's an adult.

Maybe it's an issue of who is the custodian of her 529 plan? Or maybe the judge is just a feel-y leftist.

Parents have to pay for their kids but cant review the grades/progress of their kids beacuse of "privacy concerns"? What a fucking joke!

More proof that higher education just wants your money and doesnt give a shit about the students

  5. Maybe they for see the student loan bubble to pop and going after individuals is an easier way to collect money. I could be wrong.

Jesus. Fucking leftist scum. A grown person, responsible for herself, nobody else's problem, thinks at 21 she is entitled to her parents money. And a broke state that has no money because they give it to parasites think she's right. Fuck new jersey. If she wants college, as an adult, she needs scholarships. If she can't get any, she has no business going. If she is still determined to go she needs to pay for it herself. Common sense? You would think so. This one makes me fucking mad. A grown up suing her parents for support.

  7. Insane family court judge. Now the parents are going to have to go to appellate court to fix this.

  8. Snow Plow: It ain't NJ statute. It's a family court yoyo misinterpreting case law.

It has been that way in Canada for a long time. As long as my wife and I are married we are under no obligation to pay for our kids post secondary education. If we got divorced, the court would force me to pay for it. It is really F#$%ed

Well, if the parents raised her to be such a mewling quim . . .

Step one to avoiding this is to find a helpmeet for a spouse, rather than a bimbo or a man-baby.

The best reason not to breed is so your childen will never be slaves. Under the current regime, your kids are property of the STATE. The STATE can and will do whatever they want to you and your kids. Best not to create any future slaves and starve the beast.

This is actually the state law, it has nothing to do with whether the judge was a Democrat or Republican. Whether the girl was wrong or not, she had a legal right to sue.
