If you otherwise like firefox, but hate their 'progressive' politics, give Pale Moon a try. It's built based on ff, but isn't. FF has seen their market share drop off dramatically this year. Contribute to the decline...you know you want to!

Firefox is literally getting worse with every update. Switch to Cyberfox if you are on a 64bit system. I'm sure there are plenty of other alternatives too.

Every time I went back to try Firefox because I was sick of Google's Chrome (C I A data-mining much?) it was still the bug POS it's always been. Crashes 5 times a day.

I feel the same way about Wikipedia: why should I donate to a website that pushes SJW agendas and won't recognise Men's rights in a positive way or even acknowledge MGTOW.

ReplyDeleteIt seemed logical that if Firefox behaved this way to their Chief Exec, then sooner or later the user would start coming second.
Switching to Pale Moon was painless; all my bookmarks and saved logins were ported safely, and after a couple of days I uninstalled FF. Never missed it.
I fired FF too. Unfortunately I have to use it at work because we aren't allowed to download a better alternative.

ReplyDeleteThe thing Firefox does is it really eats up memory after using it for a while like 75% of my 16GB PC memory. I have to exit out and start it again. Well I guess no more!

I switched to Opera right at the time they were really pushing their non-standard bookmarking system, but it still wasn't too hard to save everything.

Yeah, I switched to Blue Moon x64 after FireFox turned SJW. You just have to remember to change the configuration so websites don't still see it as FireFox.
