Bad News for "Round House Kicking Chick-Cop Shows"

Oh no, "State of Affiars" got the ax along with some other female dramas Round House Kicking Chick Cop Shows.

Could it possibly be overkill maybe?

No, no, never can have too many shows about a strong, independent 43 year old woman portrayed by a 31 year old actress, who can beat up 6'4" Russian mafia body guards with a cool government job, and a license to kill, but a soft side as she is torn between the rich oligarch silicon valley billionaire, and the strong, dangerous, ripped automechanic who does underground racing to raise the money for his cancer-ridden 6 year old daughter.

I miss Hogan's Heroes.

Do a cost/benefit analysis on cable or satellite TV.

I cut the cable ages ago. The entertainment benefit is heavily outweighed by the cost in time(!) and money.

I can buy a lot of other forms of entertainment for the price of cable. It is money and time better spent.

You forgot she's a former Army Ranger and combat vet dealing heroically with PTSD, smartly attired in hip-huggers and feminine though professional-looking blazer that in no way exposes her hand cannon. Seriously I saw a Law&Order SVU scene where exactly this persona slapped around a large wise-ass thug then put him in a thumb-lock before "cuffing" him.

Bummer. Backstrom got cancelled. That show made fun of women and gays and was funny.

  6. I have a bullet proof plan for success for the big networks:

Fire the execs and replace them with the guys that run HBO.

FFS - I don't think even WOMEN want to watch that strong independent female lead actress chit either.

  7. I think in fight, velocity is more important than size though. That's why martial arts and bullets are so deadly.

And yet no cancellation for "How to get away with murder" also known as "Super Affirmative Action in Hollywood where we try to make psycho killers into victims"

  9. YouTube and Netflix work for me. As for super chicks, well, the can't throw a grenade far enough to be out of the blast pattern. In the real world, she gets beat down, spends 3 months in the hospital, and has a nervous breakdown. FOlds don't just miraculously recover from a gunshot. Lots of trauma involved. As for a woman carrying a weapon, well, my ex was mental b at certain times of the month. Nope, don't need feminism for entertainment.

  12. Yes, I admit it, I have dislyxia. But unlike you, I don't claim to be a victim and just switch the letters around like normal, self-supporting adults.
