Are There ANY Masculine Millennial Male Role Models???

I noticed something a bit odd.

Tom Cruise and Mark Wahlberg are the two main guys heading up the two main action movies in play right now.  Cruise is over 50 and Wahlberg is over 40.

Where the heck are the Millennial male action heroes???

So when I tweeted this out, an Agent in the Field returned this.  The top 40 or so actors under 35.  And bar Captain American and Thor (both actors are Chris I believe), the rest of them a pussies for god's sake!  Seriously, look at those limp-wristed, pansified girly men.  Christ, the original Hans and Franz in SNL were more manly than this lot!!!!

Oh well.  Millennial girls worship at the altar of feminism.  I guess they got their dream come true with the men of this generation.

They look like the best actors under 16... Didn´t find the other Chris, but the first Chris´ brother could do fine. As a side note the IDMB "best" lists are made by users, so it can well be a random list made by a feely gay or a 12y.o. girl. Doesn´t really mean anything.
I would go further on the Wahlberg/Cruise line are those really action figures?!

Jason ackles aka dean winchester is a masculine badass if there ever was one.

  3. You've got it in reverse. The physical presence can be easily fixed given 6 months, steroids and a Hollywood personal fitness coach although that doesn't compensate for the baby faces. What's missing are the manly type movies. They aren't being made anymore.

  4. The only Hollywood puts out is for feminists and fags. If you want masculine motion picture entertainment you either go and get something produced way back in the day, or check out youtube short action films.

  5. Question for ya, Cap.

Just what did you THINK was gonna happen when you told kids that it's okay to be gay?

Yup. Millennial "women" getting the "men" they deserve.

When I'm at the book store, once in a while I'll thumb through Maxim or the other allegedly 'men's magazines' on display. Very little of the dress styles would have even appealed to me when I was younger. Lots of moody looking faggy crap though there is some good classical looks for an older guy.

How much lower can we go?

  8. I was going to suggest Chris Pratt or Travis Fimmel but they're both 37, a bit older than Millennials.

Most of these guys I've never heard of. But then again, most of these movies or shows (re: Glee) I've never watched.

  13. This has been the case for a while. I remember an article back in the 1990s, I believe, bemoaning the fact that the "manly men" who were taking leading roles back then all had shaved chests. Now it may be worse now--I see little need to subject myself to looking at the girly men who infest Hollyweird now--but the fact of the matter is that if you want movie leads who were plausibly manly, most of that ended prior to June 11, 1979, when John Wayne died.

For goodness' sake, Donald O'Connor was pretty manly compared to most of the crew today.

Note to you in your cave:

The primary viewer of/spender on these movies is pussyboy males.

Who don't want to pay to have their vision centers wanked by strong males who they well know can kick their asses. The T rush would kill them.

They want to look at other kitties. Who soothe them.

The primary maker of these movies is (((pussyboy males))).

Whose genetic imperative it is to make Northmen into wusses. (Which is why the only major Hollywood movie about vikings starred two jewboys in the lead roles, both fighting to miscegenate with the blonde Saxon girl.)

"Are There ANY Masculine Millennial Male Role Models???" No. Next Question?

Most male actors are beta or gamma males. The only alpha actor I can think of is Clint Eastwood, and he doesn't even act any more (plus at 86 he could probably hold his own against these millennial wannabe tough guy pretty boys).

Sebastian Stan was born in hard core Communist Romania in 1982 and moved to Austria with his mother after the revolution. Of all on that list he may have had the hardest time as a kid, and not have things handed to him on a silver platter.

  18. While it's always great for a masculine actor to also have a muscular build, a lot of them didn't in the "old" days. Bogart, McQueen, etc. They were trim, but not huge.

It's all in the attitude. Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn.

I guess some of us gen-X guys were lucky to have dads and moms around who watched stuff like Hawaii Five-O, Kojak, Rockford files, Gunsmoke, and Little House on the Prairie. I'm sure there are others I can't list right now that had some good masculine attributes.

And we had Clint Eastwood, Indiana Jones, Rocky, Star Trek with William Shatner. Sean Connery as James Bond.

Cap, seriously, others above have mentioned it, but just to make sure...Ackles and Padalecki are bona-fide bad-ass dikheds. ALWAYS have a gun, and shoot first ask questions later. If you haven't gotten to it, check out Supernatural...goofy, hoaky, drama...not the best show on the air, but worth wasting time on for some straight line action adventure humor.
Laters brudda, love the blog btw

You know how there are these chicks that Hollyweird puts on the screen that are attractive to many men and some women?

Meet the meat-and-veg complement to those chicks -- these are men who are attractive to many women and some men.

If you want to consider men in movies who don't look like that, consider men outside Hollyweird ...

Ed Skrein of Norf London could right fuck you up with some Stanleys and a few of his m8teyz, don't you fuckin' forget it. :-)

Check out the first 5 seasons that is. The later ones get pretty hell bent on spoiling it.

If you find the number of episodes too daunting I've written up a viewing guide to trim the fat.

    Why Aaron?

Look at the movies/Series these people had to play. Glee? Harry Potter? Pretty Little Liars?
Look at how the female character act in the popular series. All this passive/agressive bitches.
Girls watch this, girls copy it. The "male" charakters are all "Friendzone" guys of course... they copy that too... well in the movies they get to fuck the bitches, after they took their childisch shit for 45minutes before. But in real life...
