Without going into too much detail, I hope to work for myself before I'm old. I can get *so much* done when I work alone. I'm in corporate America right now, and I have eked out a niche where I can work from home most of the time. But our office is oppressive open-plan madness.
I'm trying to figure out what I can do though that people need, which I could provide in a consulting or self-employed capacity. I can program computers (any language, any operating system), but people don't look like they really *need* that (or the job market wouldn't be so dismal.) I can design and build electronics. Still thinking about it. I might push hard towards setting up a business before this job falls through.
Or, hop on and go full accelerationist. Demand they conform to the most psychotic leftist postmodern mumbo jumbo imaginable, and threaten to sue for discrimination and hate if they don't.
