Except, of course, that the vast majority of our oil needs come from Canada, Mexico and the North Sea (I think Venezuela was in there as well before Chavez took over), but I guess a guy in a sombrero, a Mountie hat or a Viking outfit just isn't as funny or stereotypical to the artist.
What damn near everybody fails to understand is that it ultimately does not matter where our oil comes from. Oil is a commodity. It's fungible. We buy it from a global marketplace at market prices. There's no way around it.
