Watering My Plant With Diet Red Bull
This is "Moose." It's a plant I received from a friend before I left Minnesota. He's grown a lot and I think that is in part because of my experimental watering habits. I figured he's a bachelor like me and therefore would like to drink the things I do.
Rumpleminze of course is out of the question, but he has responded quite well to old coffee. Figured I'd see if Moose likes Red Bull.

We going to suspect one of two things:
A. Very regular visits from womenfolk.
B. You are "that kind" of boy, not that there's anything wrong with that.
(Caveat: The above does not apply if you own a tractor.)

OK, I have to defend the Captain here for a minute.
ReplyDeleteYes, he is a bachelor with a live green plant. However, he was given the plant because of a couple of factors.
1. Said plant only requires INFREQUENT watering.
2. Cap is keeping it in his office at work where there are women who will pay attention to said plant if need be.
It's got electrolytes!

ReplyDeleteCoffee is actually good for many plants; coffee grounds make excellent fertilizer for things like rose bushes. (And absolutely terrible for many others.)
ReplyDeleteI grew a potato plant once on nothing but coffee grounds. Grew terrifically well for several months up until it caught a weird fungus. (In retrospect, the lack of drainage was an issue.)
