Never mind those kids though. They don't know what they're talking about. Kids don't need no STIIIIINKINNNNNG fathers! They have the state! That's all they need!
I read that one on a news Blog. That is a very sad statement, regarding our modern society. In fact, I would bet the percentage of kids, in that situation is much higher then 10%.
This is just another example of economic and moral decline. Both moral and economic decline, are two sides of the same coin. Both go hand in hand, as a society unravels.
I guess your statement,"enjoy the decline", applies to this particular issue.
I'm starting to understand what you mean by "enjoy the decline", Captain. But I'm not that pessimistic. Before the Internet, bringing down a society might have been possible. Now? Lies don't last an hour before the truth is out, even if those in power choose to ignore said truth, and even if partisans continue to repeat said Lie. While this has the effect of dividing society, what it also does is grind social change to a halt (I define social change as ACTUAL change, not the plaster-coated "change" of Obama and similar). I think Western Civilization may surprise us yet with its capacity to bounce back.
I want a nuclear warhead for christmas.
ReplyDeleteMom didn't have time to check the list even once.
ReplyDeleteMakes me thankful that I have gotten to enjoy every Christmas of my life with my father and mother together.

That's the saddest thing I have ever heard.
