Wrong with women? That was actually a pretty commercial starring models. If taken for what it is - fantasy - it is actually quite lovely and charming....
I'm with Anon (1:12) on this one. I don't really see anything wrong with it, as long as a woman doesn't expect every second of a relationship to be like that.
Granted, it seems like most do. But you can avoid a lot of that if you stick with women who weren't raised in the US or Western Europe.
I don't see anything wrong here, with the exception of it being unrealistically ideal (well it is a commercial). Actually, under the regular limitations of a commercial, they just show a nice traditional family, without diapers, crying babies, etc
This 2:25 fairytale only installs in the subconsciousness of the average women that maybe even more than the current eighty percent of men are beneath their level of acceptance.
Too many women are expecting every second of a relationship to be like that.
Cappy can see this stuff clearly and calls it like it is.
JFC, Captain! You're relieved of command!
ReplyDeleteWhere's Dalrock? Or M3?!?!? Get somebody on those stomach pumps for the love of God! The entire manosphere is listing to port!
GAH...! The men are shooting themselves! Have you gone insane?!?!
Red Alert! RED ALERT!!!!

ReplyDeleteSorry Glen, but if we are going to win, we must face the enemy.

What happened to the part where she divorces hin, takes sole custody of the kids, the house and all his money?
ReplyDelete"I wonder how much dental work was needed after that take."
ReplyDeleteI was half expecting--and hoping--that someone got donkey-kicked in the mouth.
Needless to say, disappointed.

ReplyDeleteConfused
ReplyDeleteThe main thing wrong with this commercial is that it's absurdly boring.
ReplyDeleteAnd it shows more how unimaginative and lazy the advertisers and branding are, more than what is wrong with women.
Ralph Lauren. Hogwash.
