Nice choice of beverage too, though I'm more of a fan of the Warre's Otima 10 and the Sandeman 10 year tawny.
He also needs to move that flashlight to the left side and get that VFG closer to the front of the gun. Good placement on the red dot though. Red dot optics should always be as far forward as you can possibly get it.
Don't personally like the VFG. unless you are wearing body armour and a tac vest they really don't do anything for you, even then they are kind of "meh". The other day, cappy, I think you had some money burning a hole in your pocket you were looking to spend on an enjoy the decline accessory. Go look at a Springfield armouries M1A. Chinese knock offs are cheap and nasty but the real deal are fine pieces of kit. Its also useful to have guns in a variety of different calibres that will be as readliy available as ammo is ever going to get.
used properly, and positioned properly (front half of the barrel shroud), they give you the control to transition between targets much more quickly, though the Magpul AFG is actually better, since that's how you should be holding the gun in the first place (unless you're shooting off-hand at something over 200 yards off). you can just wrap your hand around the barrel shroud with your thumb forward, but there lies future elbow tendonitus.
There's a reason all the top people in 3-gun use them. When there's money to be won, people aren't going to weigh down a rifle with something if it doesn't actually help them perform better.
While I am very pro-2nd amendment, I am very ignorant about the specifics of firearms. Does the Mr. Yuck sticker relate at all to the type of pistol that is, or is it just Gen X nostalgia?
Beta_plus, I trained my kids to not touch things with Mr. Yuck stickers on them without permission. Like, don't drink bleach, spray ant-spray in your face, etc.

Just remember kids, don't drink and shoot.
