The stupid burns so much it's cut the nerves that I no longer feel the pain. But I wanted to highlight that this is what kind of job you can expect to work AFTER 16 YEARS EXPERIENCE and having a "PhD in READING"
FUCKING
READING
You know, that shit you learned to do by the 2nd grade, perhaps even before kindergarten if you were homeschooled?
Yeah, this gal took 13 years PLUS 8 years of COLLEGE.
THAT'S 2 DECADES PLUS 1 YEAR TO BECOME...
REALLY GOOD AT FUCKING READING
My god, you fucking nitwits who suck the cock of "higher education."

No disrespect Cappy, but the resume says "Reading Education" which I take to mean 'teaching how to read' which is different from just reading.
You should hire her services and ask her to help you read worthless.
So there's a doctoral program for people who can read, but have neither common sense nor critical thinking skills? Who'd'a thunkit?
Well, I got a PhD in using the potty when I was around 2 or so, beat that. Unfortunately my dissertation got flushed...

Hell why not? We have people who get paid to walk your dog, take out your trash, drive your kids to school, etc. What's one more to read for you?
😣🔫
Just end the p a i n
I am reasonably comfortable in assuming I can read faster with better comprehension than this person can.
Generally, speaking, I just can read faster than most people. And, if I want to go faster for some reason, I can. Finally, there are technological ways I can read even faster, but ideally, I'd need to hire a programmer or two to get the system worked out perfectly. There are a few kludgy programs out there now, but they all have their limitations.
Unfortunately, I have yet to figure out how to monetize my reading capabilities.
I clicked to enlarge the picture- it is even worse than you said it was.
That's a phd- in reading education.
Education majors are nearly retarded compared to other majors. I think the drama majors are probably more intelligent, but they do tend to be more impulsive.
I guess "tutor" did not sound fancy enough.
And, what is with the phd?
LOL "Reading consultant". Just take your kids to the GD library.
Speaking of which, once I was buying something from a chain bookstore the checkout lady asked if I'd like to donate to provide books for needy children so I asked why can't they just go to the library like I did when I was young. She gave me the dirtiest look, too.
Well online degrees can be problematic as well:

When all your material is "in the cloud", you are at the mercy of those who OWN that cloud. ESPECIALLY if those owners have the right political connections...
She was a teacher for teachers at several University Education Departments. Double distillation of those who can't, teach!!
Dr. Read ?
Too bad they didn't minor in 'Writing Good'.
'I offer face-to-face services [instruction would be a better word choice here] that are built on the [*a* damnit!] foundation of research-based instruction.'
Great work as usual.
According to the University of Georgia website, see link below, they do not even offer a PhD in "Reading Education;" only as EdS (whatever the dickens that is). I think this makes it all the worse.

And what might these reading strategies be august? help a student out lolol
Well Cappy, it took a lot of PhDs to conclude that phonics and memorization were child abuse. It evidently takes the hair of the dog to cure the first gaping wound.
