I did notice that the horse was a relatively minor expense compared to travel and clothing. I'm at a loss to even conceive the act of spending $4500 a week on clothing.
Horses are the dogs of Satan. The only thing they had going for them was that they were the pre-industrial equivalent of tanks, which we all know are awesome, but their glory days are over. If they tasted as good as cows they'd be good for something.

I cant make out how anybody manages to spend $600 dollars a week on flowers. Seriously, how is that even possible?
