Did you ever play Giants: Citizen Kabuto? Came out circa 2001, featured 3 playable races and some light RTS elements sprinkled into the shooting. Also, it's by the same guys who did Armed and Dangerous.
It's a bit hard to find legit now, but well worth the effort. I think it's the funniest game ever made.
