Last summer I was riding through Nevada, just south of Reno, when lightning started hitting on both sides of the highway, starting numerous fires. Helicopters were flying in and out dumping water to try to get them out before they could take hold.
I decided that discretion was the better part of valor and did not stop my motorcycle to take pictures.
