Yep. I have a good friend who sees it just like that. The guy is a very capable engineer, really one of the best - good character to boot. I told him that the only problem was that the idea of not overpopulating the place dies with him, and the people having babies determine what the world will be like...no asy answers...
Do you really buy the 'overpopulation' myth, or the environmental disaster caused by the 'evil humans'? Your comedian there is greasing the skids to totalitarianism through laughter and comedy. He promotes a low grade fever of hatred for the human race with an edge of humor. People like this are not the friends of liberty or capitalism, and you will find his arguments being used to do away with your rights even now.
He had this one bit about how moms are so scared of their kids being molested that they're keeping them inside and making them fat so they're un-phuckable.
Bill also talks about the futility of further gun restrictions. His point is that crazy people are going to kil, even if it's by "moving the steering wheel 2 inches to the right".
I've read this blog for a while now. And while I "get" the financial stuff the Captain lays down, the reasoning behind the whole I'm-smart-because-I'm-not-having-kids argument eludes me. We need MORE smart people having smart kids, not less. We need MORE people with the ability to do math having kids who can do math, not less. We need MORE people with an understanding of economics and capitalism having educated, intelligent kids, not less. I'm confident my kids will excel. And we need MORE people who excel, not less.

I loves me some Bill Burr.

Look up "The No Child Manifesto" and you'll see why I am smart.
Glass Half Full is only half way to the whole solution. We also need the problematic and parasitic NOT reproducing more of their ilk!
Can you imagine how great this world would become if that happened?!
