Just finished the podcast. Good after action report on the Mad Max kerfluffle. Way to stir the pot Cappy!
A Ted Nugent quote I somehow remember from over 20 years ago: If you're not making waves, you're not rowing.
Some of the comments in the Dailymail.com article are hilarious:
"Is he trying to be a younger Hugh Hefner dressed in is smoking jacket/bathrob and pj's? He's not filling anyone. And the picture of him with two women dressed in leather must have been hired for his entertainment. What is the woman on the right wearing on her head? His underwear? He is threatened by feminists because his false sense of manhood is all he has; he certainly doesn't have the looks."
"This guy CLEARLY has no clue when it comes to women ..."
"Pathetic manbaby"
"Go away little man in a robe..whomever you are."

"Pathetic manbaby."
"Pretentious, effeminate juvenile twerp. Get over your irrelevant little self. Who is the act trying to convince? Yourself?"

"Obviously, Clarey is an insecure creep. Pitiful."
"This guy is every loser you've ever met at a party."
'ohhh noooo my sad little dick is threatened by the presence of females with agency and sympathy being portrayed in modern-day media'
lmaoooooooo goddamn this was fuckin hilarious. thanks for this bruh hahahah
Your question about O2DA
is just another way to say OODA or
Observe Orient Decide Act loop which is used by tacticians and strategist (military in particular).

The MSM is trying to hush it up at this point, but there is a growing realization now that the backlash against feminism is much, much bigger than they expected. Even if the film isn't as feminist as feared, the mere association with nutjob Ensler was enough to kill its credibility in the eyes of millions, despite positively glowing reviews.
The proof is as clear as day: Fury Road should have opened up at least $25M higher, given the astronomical Rotten Tomatoes reviews it gained. Instead, it gets trounced by PP2. Furious 7 proved beyond the shadow of a doubt, with about $1.5B in gross international box and almost $350m domestic, that there is a HUGE market for explodey, automotive action films. Mad Max should have been a slam dunk. Mad Max should have been more successful than Furious 7.
At this point, the elites are now starting to really take notice. Between Gamergate and the Mad Max backlash, they are starting to realize that pushing feminism can be a very costly proposition.
The useful idiot common leftists still labor under the delusion that they are in the majority and "on the right side of history" but they are starting to get nervous:
"We won't deign to address all the idiocy packed into the post — it's not worth it, because Clarey is just one man with a handful of followers who didn't seem to make it into the twenty-first century along with the rest of us. He doesn't deserve any attention. But, it's still disappointing to see his comments galvanize even a small crowd — this is a dangerous line of regressive thought. "

Funny how a "handful of followers" could account for such a tremendous drop in profit, isn't it?
Ms. Keifer needs to pay more attention, because this "small crowd" is growing, and not going to shut up and go away.
Very good podcast, Cap. But I don't understand why you think you might lose existing customers over the fracas? I would think that anyone who engages you would already be familiar with your body of work. "Wait, you didn't tell me you were an asshole!."
