Quite probably -- Glenn Reynolds made the mistake of apologising for those three words.
By apologising, he now appears weak, and so the SJWs and professional agitators will try to make an example out of him for their twisted purposes.
What he should have done was to "double down" on the comments by saying that any time you're being threatened with the possibility of lethal force, reciprocal lethal force should be open to you as an option.
This would have been better:
"Might as well try to kill the ones who are trying to kill you -- they used to call it self-defense."
That would have gone an incredible way toward telling the rioters where they really stand, not as "protesters", but as attackers who need to be dealt with through the use of force.
Besides, we already have a more direct way of dealing with the group itself.
BLM is a terrorist movement.
Anyone supporting BLM supports terrorists.
Terrorists who hang together deserve to hang separately.
Actions speak louder than words.
Forget about using dialogue with these people -- Vox Day is correct when he says that rhetoric works much better.
