Sunspots and Global Warming

Wow, who would have guessed. Sun spots increase along with global warming.

Though I'm sure, momentarily, I will be told by a socialist internet troll somewhere, some warped, illogical line of logic by which I should ignore my eyes, ignore what I see and believe in global warming anyway.

Oh, and I'm pre-emptively striking the "well, they couldn't measure sun spots back then as frequently as they do now." Though no doubt true, I'm going to assume the data above has been adjusted for that in some manner or another.

Many thanks to Marc!

Actually sun spots have been something they have been able to observe for many centuries, and there is a pretty good record of them.

I'm a fan of the sunspot theory. But I live in Ca., so I'm kinda in the closet. I'm out numbered by the pious'.

It's astounding ignorance that claims that "anything other than human activity" cannot be responsible for global warming.

Given that the earth is prone to Ice Ages and radical warming periods, it's doubtful that man's activity is more a factor than the myriad geologic ones responsible for the previous ones, including the "mini-Ice Age" we came out of at the turn of the last Century (1350 - 1890)...

The current "Green" movement is a combination of a number of previous Socialist/anti-industrial/anti-progress movements, including the Luddites.

The problem we have today is that these folks currently hold a deathlike grip over our media and our education systems.

If you ever want a chuckle, google the science requirements for a journalism degree. Besides being leftists generally, reporters are very gullible about doom-and-gloom issues like "global warming." CBS just had to withdraw a stupid article about global warming leading to stronger earthquakes. Pathetic. http://wattsupwiththat.wordpress.com/2008/06/19/cbs-news-sinks-to-new-low-publishes-crackpot-global-warming-story-attributes-it-to-associated-press/#more-1444
